Today the kids just weren't interested in the same old lunch of sandwiches. So, I got creative and had them make pizzas on flour tortillas.
I set up all the ingredients for them and the kids assembled their own pizza. The sauce was made from a can of tomato sauce seasoned with oregano and some garlic, pepper and seasoned salt. Very simple. All they wanted for toppings was cheese and pepperoni so I grated some mozzarella and sharp cheddar and set out the pepperoni. Once assembled and put on a cookie sheet they baked for 5 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
They must have been a hit because I went to take a picture and they were gone! So use your imagination to picture this individual sized kid fun food. The topping ideas are endless.......and it should satisfy everyone in your house.
We are getting bored with the PBJ and the quesidillas (our lunch staples). This is a great idea! Thanks for sharing!
